Colibri Solutions, LLC is a technology and database systems consultancy founded in Washington DC in 1998 and based in New York City since 2000. We provide business consulting and solution development services to corporations and institutions in a wide variety of industries.

Our mission is to provide cutting edge services and solutions that maximize returns on investment while minimizing the potential for disruption and stress to our clients’ business and staff.

Principals

Our management team is led by James J. Wesolowski and Joseph Sciarra.

James J. Wesolowski has been designing technology solutions since 1991, when he was a database designer and administrator for ANSTEC, a NASA contracting firm in Washington, DC. From 1994 to 1997, he served as a management and technology consultant to Population Services International, CARE, the International Labor Organization, the International Foundation for Election Systems and other development and relief organizations. Mr. Wesolowski founded Colibri Solutions as a technology and database systems consultancy in 1998. As Principal of Colibri Solutions, he maintains responsibility for overall operations, process consulting, and project management. Mr. Wesolowski is a graduate of The Johns Hopkins University.

Joseph Sciarra has been involved in database architecture and design since 1985. Prior to joining Colibri Solutions as Chief Technology Strategist in 2006, Mr. Sciarra was the technical lead on projects for clients including Adobe Systems, Sega International, and Conde Nast/The Cartoon Bank. He is a dedicated technologist with a consistent commitment to understanding the broad changes occurring within technology as well as a focused skill set, including advanced expertise in design and integration of workgroup database solutions using FileMaker, PHP, XML, MySQL, and MSSQL. He is also a certified FileMaker 8 and 9 developer. Mr. Sciarra is a graduate of Reed College.
